Easton lies south of the Ellington Brook. The village
just off the Huntingdon to Kettering main road, and steeply gabled
and dormered cottages with thatched or tiled roofs above which rises
the well proportioned spire of the parish church. Mainly dating from
the Decorated period, but incorporating some 12th century fragments
this church has a fine Jacobean roof and other good woodwork which
includes the screen, two altar tables and some benches. The font has
been in use since the 14th century.
Easton is one of the parishes of the District of
Huntingdonshire, whose administrative centre is
Huntingdon, the other principle towns being
St Ives
home of the Chapel on the Bridge,
St Neots

Godmanchester and
Ramsey
site of the former Abbey.
